The EOJO Window Camera was inspired by life in the densely populated San Francisco Bay Area, where space is limited, and many communities are managed by HOAs or Strata. These organizations often require homeowners to go through the time-consuming and frustrating process of applying for permits before installing outdoor security or floodlight cameras. Some of our founders encountered this firsthand when their homes were targeted by porch pirates. Although the thieves left empty-handed, they managed to destroy the doorbell camera, highlighting the vulnerabilities of traditional outdoor security systems. This experience prompted us to rethink home security, aiming to create a solution that provides external monitoring without the complexity of installation, community management approvals, or the risk of vandalism. The result is the EOJO Window Camera—a small, easy-to-install device that attaches inside your home’s exterior window, offering hassle-free security without compromise.
