Troubleshooting EOJO Camera Offline Issue

Troubleshooting EOJO Camera Offline Issue

If your EOJO camera shows as offline recently, don’t worry—it may be a simple fix. Here are a few steps to help get your camera back online:

1. Check for App Updates and Re-login
First, make sure your EOJO App is up to date by visiting your device's App Store. If an update is available, install it. Then log out of the EOJO App and log back in to reset any connection issues between the app and your camera.

2. Hard Reboot the Camera
Unplug the camera from its power source and wait for 10 seconds. Then, plug it back in. Watch for the blue light on the camera to turn from flashing to solid, which signals a successful reconnection.

3. Check the SD Card
Often, offline issues may relate to the SD card rather than the camera itself. Try removing the SD card from the camera. Before proceeding, make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you intend the camera to use.

4. Power Cycle and Reset (If Needed)
Power cycle the camera by unplugging it, waiting for 5 seconds, and plugging it back in. If you hear "Please scan the QR code…," skip ahead to step 5 to re-add the camera in the EOJO app. If you don’t hear this prompt, perform a hard reset. Use the reset pin to press and hold the reset button until you hear "Device reset successfully," followed by "Please scan the QR code." If this step doesn’t work, let us know before proceeding further.

5. Start Pairing
Begin pairing your camera with the EOJO app. When entering the Wi-Fi name manually, double-check for accuracy, as it is case-sensitive. An incorrect Wi-Fi name can stop setup progress at 50%.

6. Reinsert the SD Card (If Pairing is Successful)
If pairing completes successfully, you may need to format the SD card to FAT32 format using a card reader before reinserting it into the camera.
